BluuBeam - iBeacon app for iPhone and iPad
The BluuBeam app shows you information whenever you come across a BluuBeam (iBeacon). Wherever you see the BluuBeam icon the app will let you know about things that are relevant based on your location. The Library, Museum or Zoo that youre in, will place BluuBeams in specific locations to notify you about information that is relevant to your location.
You will see Beams that are around you as well as Beams that youve visited. Now you can even save Beams to your favorites to review later. You can also share information with your friends via Twitter, Facebook, or Email.
You’ll get information such as upcoming events, more information about a particular display, sales, promotions, databases, new releases, hours, feed times, showtimes. These are just a few examples of actual messages that are updated by the venue youre at.
BluuBeam works when the app comes into contact with BluuBeam iBeacons which we call Beams. The BluuBeam app only works with BluuBeam iBeacons otherwise the app won’t be useful.
